area of diagnosing occlusion & challenging treatment planning.
For those of you that have just started or those who have extensive
experience with diagnosing and treating difficult occlusion, we
invite you to this very focused Shimbashi study club.
Dr.
Liem and Ocean have a no strings attached attitude to this learning
arena. No commitment or obligation to doing business with them is
a necessity, only an opportunity. The goal is to better equip Dr.'s
to handle patients with chronic pain, occlusal discomfort and smile
design challenges, all typical problems which occur with the loss
of vertical dimension.

Dr.
Edmund Liem graduated in 1979 in the Netherlands and practiced there
until 1994 when he came to Canada. Since then he has been in general
practice at a private clinic in Chilliwack, BC.
Dr.
Liem is a general practice dentist with a keen interest Orthodontics
(braces), Sleep Disorders (snoring), Craniofacial Pain and Temporo
Mandibular Joint Disorders (TMD). During the past 9 years he has
focused his continuing education in these areas and has attended
more than 800 hours on these topics alone.
Dr.
Liem has acquired the Fellow status in the IAO (www.iaortho.org)
as well as Mastership in the use of the BioResearch Equipment
(www.biojva.com)
In 2003 Dr. Liem was invited as a feature speaker to the Ski Orthodontic
Symposium in Whistler, BC; the annual BioResearch Conference in
Milwaukee, WI and the annual Toronto Spring Orthodontic Symposium
in Toronto, ON. Dr. Liem is also currently a mentor of a orthodontic
study club in Vancouver, BC.
