Case history: The patient presented a very detailed central to be matched by a Procera* crown . The patient's shade was digitally scanned with the Shadescan* by Cynovad and the Procera* crown was built up utilizing the shade map generated. The crown was scanned just prior to glazing to verify the shade match and the characterizations; therefore , minimizing the multiple firings common with custom shading. The crown's shade was compatible with natural tooth being matched and fired.

The Shadescan* has greatly reduced the amount of re-shading appointments common to custom shade matching!!

Case history: The preparation shade was an obvious challenge for any single central match for an all ceramic crown. A Procera* crown was prescribed and fabricated via a Digital Shade Consultation . The case was digitally photographed at try-in with a Nikon D100 for documentation.
