What is that and what does it mean to you as a Dentist?
A very enlightening book I read called “Blue Ocean Shift” opened my eyes to the exact message and mission we as a Lab and a DENTA4 CE wish to provide you, the Dental profession we serve.
No matter what field or industry one works in, we typically compete in the same areas with our piers and colleagues for the same type of work.
Even if one reaches the highest level of expertise, it does not always mean your market will know unless marketing and advertising skills are artfully executed.
90 percent of services and products provided work and compete by either offering superior quality, competitive pricing and service. This is considered and called a “Red Ocean.” The area that most Dentists generally compete in.
The “Blue Ocean” is one area that is an exclusive area that offers a unique product and service that redefine what “The Best“ actually is.
In Dentistry there are many post education options to learn but we have not seen one yet that will create a “Blue Ocean Shift“ as DENTA4 has and will create for you! And already has for the over 150 past DENTA4 graduates.
You see there are very few CE courses that teach you a way to elevate your level of Dentistry over and above your peers so that you are actually improving the level of physical health your patients have “supported by the Dentistry you provide.“
The challenge for us is to make sure Dentists clearly know and understand first that a compromised airway with snoring and/or apnea actually foreshortens a patient’s life 8-10 years if gone untreated. Also majority of airway comprised patients also have Sick Jaw Joints! Meaning, if properly tested with electro diagnostic equipment such as BioResearches JVA, will click, pop, deviate and or deflect when open or closing. This is NOT normal or healthy but treated too by the Majority of Dentists
There are countless Dental reasons why you should not restore this very poor Jaw relationship to the skull that the patient usually evolves to over the years. It is still considered the “Standard of Care“ with most college guidelines, but is antiquated and VERY “Red Ocean” thinking.
New technology and or techniques in Dentistry is in some cases “Blue Ocean Shift“ but nothing compares to improving the “Length and quality of how your patient lives or the success and longevity of the Dentistry you provide!“
Our Ocean Team wishes to navigate you and your Dental team to reach new heights in 2018, as have our Past Graduates of DENTA4.
When planning your CE for 2018, please check the DENTA4 course dates posted and call Hannah at Ocean to reserve your seat.
We promise it will be the beginning of your “Blue Ocean Shift.”
