Ocean Ceramics is a family business that started over forty-five years ago. Two dental technicians, Chris and Gisela Neuber, immigrated to Canada from Germany with big dreams and a work ethic that was second to none. Using the knowledge passed down through the generation before them, David and James created a world-class dental laboratory with a competitive price point for their customers, no matter how high the esthetic bar, and economy pricing for simple posterior restorations.
Over the past thirty years, Ocean Ceramics has grown because of its strong team, and ability to keep up with dentistry’s ever-changing technology. Today, our business runs like any strong family, working in unity towards our goals and going through life’s journey together. What separates Ocean Ceramics from other laboratories is the systems that ensure strong communication and quality results. Ocean has two sister entities that complement their full service laboratory.
Denta4 teaches dentists a system to restore not just teeth, but their patient’s physiology: airway, jaw joint, and muscles.This will assure the maximum life of the prosthetics provided, avoiding the destructive biomechanical forces that the patient has evolved to, by correcting it before restoring teeth to an already sick, compromised physiology.
Ocean Ceramic’s sister company, Trio Creations, is a Zenith DMG distributor that promotes only the products that contribute to, and enhance the services provided by Ocean. Trio Creations carries impression material, cements, temporary material, and more.

David Neuber
President, RDT, Co-Owner
David is a second generation dental technician and has been for thirty-five years. As the president of Ocean, he is an educator in many areas including: taking predictable records, full mouth treatment planning and maxillary appliances. David is passionate about the Denta4 system, which helps dentists address overall health and function before restoring teeth. In his spare time he enjoys outdoor experiences on the water or in the great outdoors with his wife.
James Neuber
Vice President, RDT, Co-Owner & Ceramist
James is a master ceramist that applies his skills toward the art of digital dentistry. He is passionate about changing lives by creating new smiles and by executing anything from full mouth rehabilitations to adjustment-free teeth for quadrant dentistry. As a qualified second generation ceramist of over thirty years, James enjoys sharing his skills through lecturing to dentists and other dental technicians. In the winter, James loves to conquer a mountain on his snowmobile and in the summer he enjoys travelling with his family.
Tyrel Poirier
Co-Owner, RDT, Chief Laboratory Officer
Tyrel has been with Ocean for almost twenty years. He started as a courier driver and has held the position of Operations Manager for over ten years. Tyrel is the go-to person for questions, concerns and feedback on day to day cases going through the lab. Tyrel ensures Ocean has all of the records required for a successful case and carefully watches over the quality from start to finish. Tyrel specializes in case planning, implant prosthetics and everything in between. Whether it be a simple bridge or a full mouth reconstruction, he can help guide dentists through the process to ensure patient and doctor satisfaction. In his spare time, Tyrel enjoys spending time with his family and friends, Snowmobiling, and being on the water.
Curtis Neuber
Co-Owner, RDT, Ceramist
Curtis has been with Ocean for ten years. Early in his career, he developed a skill in the artistry of dental ceramics. Curtis specializes in porcelain crowns and veneers, from single units to full mouth reconstructions. He is the go to person for custom shades and large esthetic cases. Curtis helps to ensure quality control for all cases going through the lab. In his spare time Curtis enjoys Golf, BBQing, Smoking meat and spending time with his family and friends.
Kerri McIntyre
Office Manager
As the office manager for fifteen years, Kerri is the pulse of Ocean Ceramics. She is in charge of all scheduling, case pre-bookings and oversees all day to day administrative tasks. Kerri takes pride in ensuring all cases arrive on time, guaranteed. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, exercising and going to her cabin in Harrison Hot Springs.
Hannah Neuber
Accounting Manager
Hannah joined the family business when she joined the family. She is the coordinator for the Denta4 continuing education courses and specializes in the products and distribution for Ocean’s sister company, Trio Creations. Hannah is also an administrator and bookkeeper for Ocean. In her spare time, Hannah enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cooking and travelling.
